Dr. Azzi believes that surgeons who are blessed with talent, great training and a passion for surgery need to share their skill with the least fortunate among us. It is for this reason that he travels routinely to the most underprivileged countries to offer his services to those who need it most.

Every year he is able to help dozens of children born with congenital deformities who would otherwise have no access to a facial plastic surgeon. Often times these children are shunned by their communities and in some instances are killed shortly after birth for something surgically treatable such as a microtia deformity (children born without one or both ears).
